Run your archery club like a World Archery field
From the first practice end to the medal shoot-off, BallOBall handles the whole tournament — target assignments and detail draws, arrow-by-arrow scoring on the X/10-to-1 ring scale, a running points table, and a scoreboard your spectators can follow from behind the shooting line. Hand a tablet to the target captain and let the round keep its own scorecard.

One engine, tuned to Archery
The whole platform re-skins to Archery — labels, scoring, period structure, and brand accent all follow the sport.
- 01
Ring-accurate live scoring
Tap each arrow on the ten-ring scale — X and 10 in the gold, down through the colours to 1, with a miss as a clean M — and the end total, the running score, and the X-count move together on the console and the field scoreboard. The inner-10 X is tracked separately for tiebreaks, exactly as the rulebook asks.
- 02
Ends, arrows & target faces
Six arrows an end, three for indoor, scored by the ring they strike. The end lifecycle is logged start to finish so a value can be corrected before the next end opens — the scorecard reflects what is on the face, not what someone remembered.
- 03
Tiebreaks by 10s and Xs
When totals are level, archery ranks on the count of 10s, then Xs, then a single-arrow shoot-off closest to centre. The standings apply that order automatically, so a tie is resolved by the rules instead of a coin toss.
- 04
A table that ranks on points
Played, Won, Lost, Win %, Points For, Points Against, and Points Difference — the round sheet sorted the way target archery actually ranks, with cumulative ring points as the measure instead of a generic win/loss grid forced onto a scoring sport.
A Archery console & table — not a spreadsheet
The scorekeeper buttons and the standings columns below are exactly what Archery gets — generated from the sport engine, not a generic grid.

The full Archery operation
From the first fixture to the broadcast scorebug — every surface your Archery league runs on, built in.
Rounds & detail draws
Schedule a WA 720, an indoor 18m, or a field round as a round-robin of head-to-heads, or a seeded bracket into the medal matches with the Tournaments module. Conflict detection warns when an archer or the range is double-booked; you assign the bosses and details, so every target on the line is full and balanced.
Averages & ring stats
End averages, arrow average, 10-count, X-count, and gold percentage, plus high-end and personal-best boards — built from the arrows your scorer already taps. Live on the screen before the next end is called.
Field scoreboard & overlays
An archery-themed scorebug with the live end and running totals, plus lower thirds for the leading archer — one browser source into OBS or the field screens. The target captain drives it; no separate operator needed.
Club & event fan pages
Every event can publish a branded public page with live ends, the arrow feed, the standings, and X-count leaderboards. No login — coaches and supporters just follow the round.
What Archery leagues get
- X-true
Tiebreaks resolved right
10s, then Xs, then the centre-closest shoot-off arrow are applied in the rulebook order, so when scores level the result matches what World Archery says — every detail, every end.
- 6 set points
Set system or ring total
World Archery recurve scores by set: two set points to the higher end, one each when the ends tie, first to six takes the match. Switch the league to cumulative and the running ring total is the score instead — the same six-arrow ends on the same target face, one setting apart.
- 0
Paper scorecards
Replace the clipboard, the running-total arithmetic, and the post-round results email with one tablet that scores ends, counts Xs, and runs the screens at once.
