Best of three, rally-scored to twenty-one

Run your badminton club like a national tournament

From a Friday club night to a seeded singles-and-doubles draw, BallOBall handles the whole event — brackets and round-robin pools, live rally-by-rally scoring to 21 with the win-by-two and the cap at 30 handled, a best-of-three game model, a match-win table that ranks on game difference, and a broadcast-grade fan page. Hand a tablet to the umpire and let the shuttle decide it.

One engine, tuned to Badminton

The whole platform re-skins to Badminton — labels, scoring, period structure, and brand accent all follow the sport.

  1. 01

    Rally scoring to 21

Score the way badminton is played — every rally is a point, a game runs to 21, win by two with the cap at 30, and only the game won moves the match scoreline. The board tracks the live rally score and the games tally together.

  2. 02

Singles & doubles in one event

Run men's, women's, and mixed doubles alongside the singles draws from a single account. Pairings, service courts, and the discipline label follow each match, so a five-event club night runs from one console.

  3. 03

A ladder built for the sport

Played, Matches Won, Lost, Win%, Games For, Games Against, and Game Difference — ranked on match Win% with game difference as the tiebreaker. The racquet ladder, not a goals-and-draws grid.

  4. 04

    Every rally on the board

Tap a rally point and the running game score and the scorebug move together, while the public match center shows the rally on its next load — the umpire keeps pace with a 400-km/h smash. No clipboard, no post-game tally.

It really speaks the sport

A Badminton console & table — not a spreadsheet

The scorekeeper buttons and the standings columns below are exactly what Badminton gets — generated from the sport engine, not a generic grid.

The full Badminton operation

From the first fixture to the broadcast scorebug — every surface your Badminton league runs on, built in.

  • Draws & scheduling

Round-robin groups, or seeded single- or double-elimination draws with the Tournaments module — across singles, doubles, and mixed. Conflict detection warns when a pair or a hall is double-booked; you assign the courts and the time windows.

  • Tablet-first scorekeeper

Big touch targets for every rally — point and game won, with win-by-two and the 30-point cap handled for you. Offline-tolerant, undo any point, and every rally is pushed to the court-side scorebug.

  • Broadcast scorebug & overlays

A badminton-themed scorebug with the live rally score and the games boxes, lower thirds for each pair, and a between-games card — one browser source into OBS. The umpire drives the graphics from the same tablet, between rallies.

  • Player & club fan pages

Every club can publish a branded public page with live scores, the rally-by-rally feed, the draw, and a points leaderboard. No login — fans just follow the match.

Why operators switch

What Badminton leagues get

  • Interval at 11

    Intervals, not timeouts

The 60-second interval starts the instant either side first reaches 11, there are 120 seconds between games, and the decider changes ends at 11 as well. All three are automatic and umpire-run — nobody requests them and no per-side stock counts down — so the board runs those clocks instead of showing timeout pips a shuttle match never had.

  • Auto

    Win-by-two, capped at 30

A game closes at 21 with a two-point margin, or at the 30-point cap if it goes the distance. No manual override, no miscounted deuce at 20-all.

  • GD-correct

    Ladders that tiebreak right

Match Win%, then game difference, then games for — applied in the right order, so the seeding across every discipline matches the rulebook.
