Tries, conversions, and the sin bin — all logged

Run your rugby league for the full eighty

Two halves, every way to put points on the board, and the cards that change a match — BallOBall runs it the way rugby is actually scored. A five-point try, the two-point conversion that follows, penalties and drop goals, and the sin bin tracked live. Schedule the fixtures, hand the touch judge a tablet, and the clubhouse follows every phase.

One engine, tuned to Rugby

The whole platform re-skins to Rugby — labels, scoring, period structure, and brand accent all follow the sport.

  1. 01

Try, then the two that follow

Tap a try for five, then the conversion for two — the scoreline moves by the right value every time. Penalty goals and drop goals add their three, so the board reflects exactly how the points were scored, not a flat tally.

  2. 02

    Cards & the sin bin

Yellow and red cards roll up to a live discipline log. A yellow puts a player in the bin and the match center shows the team a man down — fans and the touchline see the ten-minute disadvantage as it plays out.

  3. 03

    Fifteen on the team sheet

Props, hooker, locks, flankers, the number eight, halves, centres, wings, and fullback all have a home in the roster, so the forward pack and the back line are tracked the way a rugby team sheet is actually built.

  4. 04

    A points-difference table

Played, Won, Lost, Win %, Points For, Points Against, and Points Difference — sorted by win percentage with PD as the tiebreaker a rugby table needs. Pool play and knockout brackets come with the Tournaments module.

It really speaks the sport

A Rugby console & table — not a spreadsheet

The scorekeeper buttons and the standings columns below are exactly what Rugby gets — generated from the sport engine, not a generic grid.

The full Rugby operation

From the first fixture to the broadcast scorebug — every surface your Rugby league runs on, built in.

  • Fixtures & brackets

Round-robin leagues, a one-day sevens tournament block, or group stage into knockouts with the Tournaments module. Conflict detection warns when a club or a pitch is double-booked across the season; you assign the pitches and the kickoff times.

  • Tablet scorekeeper

Big touch targets for tries, conversions, penalty goals, drop goals, cards, penalties conceded, and substitutions. Undo any event, offline-tolerant pitchside, and every score is pushed to the scorebug.

  • Broadcast scorebug

A rugby scorebug with the score, the half, and the clock, plus lower thirds for the try scorer and the player binned. One browser source into OBS, driven by the scorekeeper — no separate operator.

  • Club fan pages

Every club can publish a branded public page with the live score, the phase-by-phase feed, the table, and try-and-points leaderboards. No login — supporters just open the link and follow the match.

Why operators switch

What Rugby leagues get

  • Union / League

    Both codes, priced right

Pick the code in league rules and the whole catalog re-prices itself — union pays a try five with the penalty and drop goal at three; league pays a try four, the penalty two, the drop goal one. Buttons, hotkeys, the optimistic scoreline, and the posted delta all move together, so a 13-a-side match is never scored at 15-a-side values.

  • PD-correct

    Tables that tiebreak right

Points difference is applied as the tiebreaker after win percentage, so the standings match what the competition rulebook says — every round, without a manual recount.

  • 0

    Clipboards on the touchline

Replace the paper sheet, the card tally, and the post-match results email with one tablet that scores the points, tracks the bin, and runs the stream at once.
