Run your field hockey league quarter by quarter
Four quarters, goals and assists, the penalty corners that decide tight games, and the green-yellow-red card ladder — BallOBall runs field hockey the way it is actually played. Schedule the fixtures, hand the bench tablet to your scorer, and the touchline follows every goal and every short corner live.

One engine, tuned to Hockey
The whole platform re-skins to Hockey — labels, scoring, period structure, and brand accent all follow the sport.
- 01
Goal-accurate scoring
Tap a goal and the scoreline, the scorer, and the assist move together on the console and the scorebug. Only a goal moves the score — corners, strokes, and cards log alongside it — so the board is always exactly the match score, never a tally of chances.
- 02
Penalty corners & strokes
Short corners and penalty strokes are logged as first-class events, so the set-piece count sits on the board and your conversion rate from corners builds through the game — the part of hockey a generic scoreboard never captures.
- 03
Green, yellow, red cards
The full card ladder rolls up to a live discipline log. A yellow shows the team temporarily down a player and a red shows the send-off, so the touchline and the fans see the disadvantage exactly as it unfolds.
- 04
A goal-difference table
Played, Won, Drawn, Lost, Goals For, Goals Against, and Goal Difference, with Win % — sorted win percentage, then GD, then goals scored, the way a hockey table should tiebreak. Draws are a first-class result.
A Hockey console & table — not a spreadsheet
The scorekeeper buttons and the standings columns below are exactly what Hockey gets — generated from the sport engine, not a generic grid.

The full Hockey operation
From the first fixture to the broadcast scorebug — every surface your Hockey league runs on, built in.
Fixtures & brackets
Round-robin leagues, a one-day tournament block, or pools into knockouts with the Tournaments module. Conflict detection warns when a team or a pitch is double-booked across the season; you assign the pitches and the push-back times.
Tablet scorekeeper
Big touch targets for goals, assists, penalty corners, penalty strokes, and the green, yellow, and red cards. Undo any event, offline-tolerant pitchside, and every goal and corner is pushed to the scorebug.
Broadcast scorebug
A hockey scorebug with the score, the quarter, and the clock, plus lower thirds for the goalscorer and a corner call. One browser source into OBS, driven by the scorekeeper — no separate operator.
Club fan pages
Every club can publish a branded public page with the live score, the goal-and-corner feed, the table, and goals-and-assists leaderboards. No login — supporters just open the link and follow the match.
What Hockey leagues get
- Pushed
Goal to the broadcast
When the scorekeeper taps a goal, a WebSocket relay pushes it to the broadcast scorebug. The public match center refreshes itself, and the standings recompute once the match is marked final.
- GD-correct
Tables that tiebreak right
After win percentage, goal difference then goals scored decide the order, so the standings match what the competition rulebook says — every round, with no manual recount.
- 0
Clipboards at the bench
Replace the paper sheet, the corner count, and the post-match results email with one tablet that scores the goals, tracks the corners and cards, and runs the stream at once.
